    Ingersoll Rand D-series non-cyclic, refrigerant, air dryers are completely assembled, tested and ready for the start up in both air cooled and water cooled options. The connections required for the start up are, compressed air line, power supply line and condensate discharge. This range is the result of an ongoing research by the Ingersoll Rand engineering team. It has adopted a technically advanced solution, new material and a compact design, providing benefits to an energy-efficiency performance and ease of installation.

    All models comply with the relevant European directives and are manufactured and tested following ISO 9001 quality procedures.

    Capacity range*: 65 M3/min. to 219 M3/min.
    Max operating Pressure : 14 bar[g].

    HC Series Heat Of Compression

    Ingersoll Rand regenerative dryers are shipped as complete assembled packages and are ready to be installed. The model HC-85 and above, are shipped partly dis-assembled because the overall dimensions exceed the maximum allowable for shipment and the desiccant is supplied separately.

    The heat of Compression dryer is a special development of the regenerative type compressed air dryer and provides high quality dryed instrument air. As the HC-series dryer uses the normally wasted heat of compression to regenerate desiccant, it requires no air heater or purge air blower. The obvious benefits are:

    • Greatly reduced operating cost
    • Equipment simplicity
    • Increased equipment reliability
    • No dew point spike at tower shift

    Completely automatic operation is standard with sequencing through a micro-controller.

    The HC Series dryer employs an 8 hour heating, cooling and stripping cycle to prevent/minimize dew point bumps at tower shift.
