FAMCO receives Operational Excellence award from Volvo Construction Equipment

FAMCO has been awarded the international Operational Excellence award for 2009 by Volvo Construction Equipment, marking the second consecutive year for FAMCO to win the award. FAMCO maintained a strong partnership with Volvo Construction Equipment throughout 2009, dealing with many issues resulting from the market downturn

The prestigious award recognises the professional strengths within FAMCO's Volvo Construction Equipment business which include a dedicated application engineering function, introduced to provide quality advice to customers, thereby moving away from traditional selling methods. Top quality parts and service and a dedicated focus on after-sales product and customer support, as well as the full market introduction of all Volvo Construction Equipment's soft products, such as the CareTrack remote monitoring system and machine inspection programmes, were also important criteria for the award

 In addition to recognising FAMCO's overall approach to providing the highest possible levels of service and product support, the Operational Excellence award also confirms the company's ongoing alignment with Volvo's dealer operating standards
