FAMCO conducts Oil & Gas Seminar with Ingersoll Rand

The '2010 Oil & Gas Seminar' was conducted at the Beach Rotana hotel, Abu Dhabi on the 28th April, by FAMCO in association with Ingersoll Rand. The seminar was organised to promote engineered air solution business by FAMCO's Industrial Products division

Some 40 high-profile, senior level technical officiates from major oil and gas companies attended the seminar, including GASCO, ADGAS, ADMA OPCO, Dubai Petroleum, ENOC and NDC, as well as contractors and consultants Technip, Petrofac, NPCC, CCC, Tebodin, Fluor Mideast Limited and Dodsal

Following an introduction by FAMCO's Managing Director, Paul Floyd, presentations followed from Ingersoll Rand managers Paolo Fumagalli, Oil & Gas Industry Manager and Nicola Catalano, Senior Project Leader. Details were also given for main intent and latest edition of the API 672 and 617 standards applicable for Centrifugal air compressors and other engineered air solution products

The event was a huge success having met all our major objectives, said Paul Floyd. The customers appreciated the seminar structure, its content and the level of detail presented. The number of questions at the end of our presentations confirmed our customers' interest as well as their level of understanding and knowledge of our products and services
