FAMCO receives “Operational Excellence” award from Volvo Construction Equipment.

FAMCO’s Construction Equipment Division received an “Operational Excellence” award and a “Volvo Partnership Certificate” in the recently held international dealer conference in Eskilstuna – Sweden.

The “Operational Excellence” award is service related and primarily recognises FAMCO’s approach to providing the highest possible levels of service and product support through initiatives such as inspection programmes, operator training, the quality of tech line calls and related customer feedback.

The “Volvo Partnership Certificate” gives FAMCO Certified Partnership status and is valid for 2 years (until Q3 2010). It recognises performance levels in all areas of the business, including sales, application engineering, product support, technical service, parts, marketing, inventory management, finance and HR. The certification confirms that FAMCO follows Volvo Construction Equipment’s Dealer Operating Standards (DOS) and Policy & Procedural Manual (PPM).
