May 23, 2010, AED. 11.5 million GASCO contract win for FAMCO & Ingersoll Rand!

FAMCO, together with Ingersoll Rand have been awarded a prestigious contract for AED 11.5 million to supply, start up and commission an API 672 air-cooled centrifugal instrument air compressor and dryer package by Technip, Abu Dhabi, for GASCO's ASAB 3 project.

FAMCO played a crucial role during the contract award stage by safeguarding the competitiveness of the Ingersoll Rand brand and the contract was won against tough industry competition from FS - Elliott.

FAMCO was involved in the project with Ingersoll Rand from the front end engineering design (FEED) stage, working with GASCO's appointed FEED contractor, VECO Engineering and end user consultant, Engineers India Ltd., supporting them with technical and commercial input for the package. Ingersoll Rand is the market leader in air cooled API units and was highly impressed with FAMCO's professional approach.
