May 27, 2010, FAMCO conducts innovative event for Linde equipment

FAMCO has conducted the first 'Linde Challenge' at the FAMCO facility in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi to demonstrate the excellence of Linde material handling equipment.

In association with The Logistics Academy, Abu Dhabi, the event was jointly arranged with operational support and coordination by professionals from The Institute of Applied Technology. Major logistics providers sent their best operators to participate in the challenge which utilised their skills and dexterity on the versatile equipment provided by Linde. The high level of enthusiasm and participation enabled the operators to gain in-depth knowledge of the product and its advantages.

With displays and demonstrations of Linde equipment, the Linde Challenge proved to be an excellent one-to-one opportunity to target existing and potential customers from the logistics, oil and gas, manufacturing and other key industries. It also enabled FAMCO to reinforce itself as an undisputed industry leader. An added enhancement was the presence of specially trained engineers and technicians who were on hand to communicate the benefits of the equipment and offer tailor-made solutions. After-market business for Linde was also highlighted to customers.
